Abstract:Objective To understand the epidemiologic characters and influencing factors of influenza outbreaks in xinwu district of wuxi from 2017 to 2019,so as to provide reference for prevention and control of influenza. Methods We Collected the data on reported in 2017-2019 form China Influenza Surveillance Information Systerm and China Public Health Emergency Management Information. Epidemiological characteristics and population influencing factors on epidemic strength and time were analyzed. Results A total of 26 influenza outbreaks in were reported and the total number of case was 927 in Xinwu during this period. The average attack rate was 1.74%.100% outbreaks occurred from December to the next April. All the outbreaks occurred in schools, in which 88.46% occurred in primary schools and 11.54% occurred in kindergartens. The outbreaks mainly caused by Victoria B(65.60%)and Yamagata B(16.40),H3N2(16%).Epidemic strength of influenza time was correlated with the number of students in school(P<0.05),and the epidemic time was correlated with the type of school and the reporting time(P<0.05).Conclusion Influenza outbreaks is seasonal and mainly occurred in school. It is essential to improve the timeliness outbreaks reporting and take early control measures to reduce influenza outbreak in schools.
